Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a staff nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You will work within organizational policies and contribute to quality outcomes.

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active GA RN license (or multistate), BLS and ACLS, and 1–2 years' experience in Diagnostic Cardiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, IR, or ED.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Licensure: Active, unencumbered Georgia State Registered Nurse license or multistate compact license
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Diagnostic Cardiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Emergency Department setting
• Skills: Expert knowledge of cardiac rhythms, cardiovascular pharmacology, and a high success rate with difficult IV sticks

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and accountability as per organizational policies.
