Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a staff nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the lifecycle, from birth onward, using established nursing processes. The role emphasizes coordinating care among staff and maintaining standards of practice in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualified candidates will have an active Georgia RN license (or multi-state), BLS/ACLS, and 1–2 years in cardiology, Cath Lab, IR, or ED with strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and pharmacology.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Active Georgia RN license or compact license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years in Diagnostic Cardiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, IR, or ED.
• Expert knowledge of cardiac rhythms and cardiovascular pharmacology.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across the lifecycle.
• Coordinate patient care activities among assigned staff.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and quality standards.

Education

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Nursing degree/diploma

BLS and ACLS certifications

Active Georgia RN license or multi-state

Cardiac rhythms knowledge
