Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, from birth onward. The role requires applying nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while aligning with organizational policies and standards.

Qualified candidates will hold an RN license (GA or compact), BLS and ACLS, and 1–2 years in cardiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, IR, or ED. Strong IV skills and knowledge of cardiac rhythms are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Licensure: Active, unencumbered Georgia State RN license or multistate compact license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1–2 years in Diagnostic Cardiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or ED
• Expert knowledge of cardiac rhythms and cardiovascular pharmacology; proficient IV skills

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
