Job summary

Carle Health's cath lab seeks an experienced RN to monitor and care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures, including moderate sedation under physician direction.

The role involves collaborating with physicians, radiology technologists and the care team to deliver high-quality patient care, documenting accurately, and supporting safe procedure readiness across shifts.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days - AHA.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois (IDFPR).
• ACLS certification within 1 year - AHA.
• Education: Nursing Diploma.
• Work Experience: RN>1yr

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for cath lab patients including moderate sedation under physician direction.
• Complete initial assessment on admission and develop a care plan.
• Document nursing care accurately to support the care team.
• Implement plan of care and nursing interventions; adjust as needed.
• Ensure patient and staff safety; report hazards.
• Assist MD/PA with bedside procedures and hemodynamic monitoring.
