Job summary

The Carle BroMenn Cath Lab seeks a Registered Nurse to monitor and care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac, electrophysiology, vascular, neuro, and interventional radiology procedures.

The RN provides moderate sedation under physician direction, collaborates with physicians, radiology staff and the care team, and ensures excellent patient care throughout the peri-procedural period.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA).
• Licensed RN in Illinois (IDFPR).
• ACLS within 1 year - American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Performs unit duties as assigned in cath lab procedures.
• Maintains accurate nursing records and plan of care.
• Assists with moderate sedation under physician guidance.
• Supports patient safety and team communication during procedures.
