Proforma Health Inc. in Florida seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Pre and Post Cath Lab care on a PRN basis.

You will prepare patients for cardiac catheterization, perform pre-procedure assessments, and coordinate testing to ensure smooth procedures. In this role, you will monitor hemodynamics after procedures, manage patient comfort, document care in the EHR, and collaborate with cardiologists and the care team to uphold safety and infection prevention standards.

Formación

• Active RN licensure required.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills.
• Knowledge of peri-procedural cardiac care and recovery nursing.
• Ability to manage patient comfort and troubleshoot post-procedure issues.
• Accurate, detail-oriented EHR documentation.
• Professional teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and infection prevention.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Perform comprehensive pre-procedure assessments and verify informed consent.
• Coordinate and complete pre-op testing requirements.
• Monitor hemodynamic status after procedures.
• Manage patient pain and provide recovery care.
• Assess and monitor vascular access sites and recognize complications.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary teams.
