Job summary

Stormont Vail Health in Topeka, KS is seeking a Specialty Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab/IR on a part-time, day shift. You will provide direct patient care in ambulatory/acute care settings around cardiac procedures, administering meds, monitoring sedation, and supporting the interdisciplinary team.

The role requires BSN (preferred) and KS RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS within 90 days. You will educate patients, document care, and participate in quality improvement and orientation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in KS (KSBN) required.
• BSN preferred; Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• ACLS, BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• PALS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care per nurse practice act.
• Administers prescribed medications and infusions; titrates as needed.
• Formulates and executes care plans based on patient needs.
• Monitors post-procedure recovery and sedation effects.
• Documents in patient records and supports care coordination.
