Stormont Vail Health is seeking a part-time Cardiac and Vascular RN to join our ambulatory and acute care teams. This 24-hour-per-week role focuses on direct patient care, patient education, and collaboration with the health care team in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a clinic setting.
• KSBN RN license required; BLS within 90 days; ACLS within 90 days; PALS within 90 days.
• BSN or higher degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care as defined by the state nurse practice act.
• Performs ongoing assessments and data collection focusing on physiological and cognitive status.
• Administers prescribed medications and infusions per nursing standards.
• Develops and implements a prioritized plan of care for inpatients.
• Documents accurately in patient records and coordinates with care team.
• Monitors post-operative recovery and manages pain, nausea, and other symptoms.
