Job summary

Stormont Vail HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join the cardiac/vascular team in a hospital ambulatory/acute care setting. The role includes direct patient care, medication administration, and perioperative support under the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.

The position requires a KS RN license and BLS, with ACLS and PALS preferred and expected within 90 days of hire. The nurse will contribute to safety, education, and discharge planning while coordinating with Cardiac

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Experience in a clinic setting preferred.
• Ability to apply safety protocols and prescription calculations.
• Proficient in patient assessment and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per nursing scope and plan of care.
• Administer medications and infusions with monitoring for adverse effects.
• Titrate cardiac and anticoagulant therapies as ordered.
• Document patient data accurately and maintain records.
• Collaborate with physicians and multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe discharge instructions.
