Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifespan, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. You will coordinate patient care activities and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, GA RN license (or compact), and BLS/ACLS certification, with 1–2 years in cardiology, cath lab, IR, or ED settings, and strong skills

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Licensure: Active, unencumbered Georgia State Registered Nurse license or multistate compact license
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Experience: 1–2 years in Diagnostic Cardiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, IR, or ED setting

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across the lifecycle using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff for quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and contribute to professional growth and accountability
