Job summary

UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC, is hiring a Clinical Nurse II for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This full-time role offers four 10-hour shifts Mon-Fri, with on-call requirements including evenings and weekends, onsite in Chapel Hill.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in North Carolina with a BSN or higher in nursing.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.
• ACLS certification required; must obtain if not current.
• Experience in cardiac care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent clinical nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team using the nursing process.
• Manage education, discharge planning, and care planning for complex cases.
• Respond to urgent cases and support procedures as needed.
