Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support the Cardiac Cath Lab. This full-time role involves day shifts, 40 hours per week, and a designated on-call schedule including one night per week and every fifth weekend to cover emergent procedures.

Prerequisites include an accredited nursing program, NC RN license, BLS, plus ACLS/PALS within six months of hire. Prior ICU/ED experience is preferred to ensure high-acuity patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS and PALS are required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years RN experience in ICU or ED preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
