Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification.
• At least one year ICU/CCU or comparable ER, cath lab or recovery experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications using all routes as ordered.
• Participate in continuing education on the unit.
• Communicate verbal and written information to patients, families and health care team.
• Responsible for all phases of digital/filmless CD system.
• Serve as a liaison for the Cath Lab to promote physician and interdepartmental relationships.
