Job summary

MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, with cross-training into the EP lab and coordinating patient care. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, supervise LPNs and PCAs, and facilitate communication with physicians and families.

The role is a full-time day shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) with on-call duties including every third weekend; must live within 20–30 minutes of the

• Current IA RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• Cardiac experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
• Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
• Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.
