Job summary

MercyOne Northeast Iowa in Waterloo, IA is seeking a registered nurse for our Cath Lab. You will assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures and may cross-train into the EP lab.

The role requires administering and coordinating patient care on the Cath Lab team, plus supervising LPNs/PCAs and maintaining open communication with physicians and families. Day shift, 1.0 FTE, on-call during weekdays and every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Must hold current IA RN license.
• BSN preferred but not required.
• Cardiac experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
• Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
• Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.
