Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab, delivering patient care through the nursing process and coordinating with multiple departments. You will uphold patient rights and confidentiality while ensuring high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires on-call duties (12–15 days per month) and involvement in STEMI and emergency call responses. Graduation from an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure in the hiring state or a compact is essential.

Qualifications

• RN license required in Missouri or Kansas compacts, or eligible for compact licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or completed within onboarding period.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Participate in STEMI and emergency call response with 30-minute callback.
• On-call 12–15 days per month and approx. 2 weekends per month.
