Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's White Oak Medical Center in Silver Spring, MD seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Cath Lab to deliver patient-focused care aligned with our mission. The RN will educate patients and families, support senior staff, and ensure safe, evidence-based care within the cath lab environment.

Responsibilities include mentoring Level I nurses, developing care plans, and applying ANA standards while advancing best practices in cardiology nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Maryland RN license.
• NCLEX passing score.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as specialty area dictates.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families throughout the continuum of care.
• Model professional nursing practice and support junior nurses.
• Develop individualized care plans and monitor patient status.
• Identify changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action.
• Mentor students and colleagues in patient-centered care.
