Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital in Connecticut is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Cath Lab. The RN will provide care to patients undergoing invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures within our three labs.

The role includes patient assessment, hemodynamic monitoring, pre-procedure preparation and administration of conscious sedation. The position is full-time with a rotating 4x10 schedule and on-call weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Connecticut.
• BSN degree preferred; 1–2 years acute care/ICU/cardiac telemetry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients undergoing invasive procedures in Cath Lab.
• Perform patient assessment and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Prepare patients pre-procedure and administer conscious sedation.
