Abington Memorial Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for its Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The role is full-time day shift, 40 hours/week, focused on patient- and family-centered care and safe, evidence-based nursing practice.

The nurse develops individualized care plans and collaborates with the care team to meet diverse patient needs. Minimum qualifications include a Specialized Diploma in Nursing, strong communication and cultural awareness, and a current RN license.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication and collaboration with patients, families, and teams.
• Ability to document accurately and use health information systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab with a focus on safety and quality.
• Collaborate with inter-professional teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, treatment plans and follow-up.
• Follow established nursing protocols and participate in quality improvement.
• Utilize health information systems to document care and monitor outcomes.
