Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse (RN) CV Specialist in Tulsa, OK. The role focuses on delivering specialized cardiac care in a high-acuity Cath Lab setting.

You will use your nursing knowledge to monitor patients, respond to emergencies, and participate in invasive radiology procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety. A strong CCU/ICU background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience on cardiac floor or Critical Care Unit (ED, ICU).
• Current Oklahoma Registered Nursing license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certified.

Responsibilities

• Utilize knowledge base of nursing education and experience in order to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Respond to life threatening situation with appropriate interventions.
• Practice in a Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Invasive Radiology environment through the application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, included but not limited to cardiac pacing, hemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation.
• Organize patient care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
