Job summary

Beloit Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team at Beloit Memorial Hospital. In a fast-paced setting, you will deliver advanced cardiovascular care in collaboration with physicians, technologists, radiology staff, and fellow nurses.

You will provide expert nursing care around cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, stress testing, and EKG services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• ADN, Diploma, BSN or MSN degree acceptable.
• State of Wisconsin licensure required (multistate preferred).
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care before, during, and after cardiac, peripheral vascular, and electrophysiology procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures and interventions.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changing clinical situations.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
• Perform and support stress testing, EKGs and other services.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement and professional development.
