Memorial Hospital Belleville and Memorial Hospital Shiloh are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation within nursing standards.

The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, safety, quality, and collaboration with an interprofessional team to develop and document care plans across the continuum.

Qualifications

• RN licensed and eligible to practice in Illinois.
• Nursing Diploma/Associate's with RN certification.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
• BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
