Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Tech for the Cardiac Cath Lab to support diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role involves procedural expertise, patient care, and collaboration with physicians and nursing staff in a fast-paced lab.

The position requires Illinois RT licensure, ARRT registry, and BCLS, with 1+ years in IR or cath lab settings. Full-time daytime schedule with 4 x 10-hour shifts and generous benefit offerings.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredit school of Radiology.
• Current RT License in State of Illinois.
• Current ARRT Registry.
• Basic Cardiac Life support (BCLS) required.
• Typically requires 1+ years of Interventional (IR) or procedural experience (Cath Lab, OR, IR).

Responsibilities

• Procedural Support: Provides competent, proficient, technical support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, implementing procedural standards and protocols.
• Patient Centered Care: Provides patient care specific to procedural requirements and patient needs (under the supervision of physicians and Cath Lab nursing personnel) within established departmental policies for scope of practice.
• Patient/Family Member Education: Provides support and education to patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
• Safety: Maintains a safe, organized and efficient work environment.
• Customer Service: Demonstrates the ability to interact and cooperate with all customers.
• Professional Growth and Accountability: Maintains professional growth, self-development objectives, and skill enhancement.
