Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Peoria, Illinois. The role runs 40 hours per week on 4x10-hour day shifts, starting Oct 19, 2026, in a Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit.

Required: ARRT registration, BLS/ACLS, 3+ years in cardiac/vascular/EP procedures, and Illinois Rad Tech license if applicable. Excellent communication and sterile technique are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in cardiac/vascular and EP diagnostic/interventional procedures.
• ARRT registration in Radiology required; IL state license if applicable.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in invasive coronary, vascular and EP procedures.
• Set up and operate imaging equipment and computers used in cath lab.
• Document observations and procedural findings accurately.
• Communicate with patients to alleviate anxiety during procedures.
• Collaborate with team and mentor other staff as needed.
