Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiology Tech for the Cardiac Cath Lab. This full-time day position focuses on procedural support across diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, with emphasis on patient-centered care and teamwork.

You will work in a dynamic Cath Lab environment, collaborating with physicians and nursing staff, while providing thorough patient education and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited radiology program and license to practice in Illinois.
• ARRT registry is required and licensure must be active.
• BCLS/CPR certification is required.
• Typically 1+ years of interventional (IR) or procedural experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provides competent procedural support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Delivers patient-centered care under physician supervision within department policies.
• Educates patients, families, and other team members about procedures and care.
• Maintains a safe, organized, and efficient work environment during Cath Lab operations.
• Communicates effectively with the care team to ensure smooth patient flow and care continuity.
• Supports professional growth and orientation for new interventional devices and team members.
