Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Radiologic Technologist who plays a crucial role in diagnosing and treating heart diseases. This position involves performing procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories, operating X-ray equipment, and assisting physicians during catheterization interventions.

Applicants should have a strong foundation in coronary anatomy and advanced hemodynamics. A graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program and relevant certifications are required, along with at least one year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Current RCIS certification required within 2 years of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab or interventional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document procedures in clinical systems accurately.
• Assists in operation of mechanical atherectomy devices.
• Maintain accuracy of database and verify procedure logs.
• Operate electronic equipment to monitor patients’ heart rhythms.
