Zusammenfassung

Emerge is seeking a Radiology Technologist for our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. You will enable physicians to diagnose and treat heart disease by operating X-ray, fluoroscopy, and specialized cardiac equipment during interventional procedures.

You will prepare the lab and patients, assist with coronary angiography and other studies, monitor hemodynamics, and help with device exchanges. Strong imaging skills and radiation safety focus are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Cath lab or interventional experience preferred.
• Equivalent education and experience accepted.

Aufgaben

• Prepare the lab and patients; assist physician with coronary angiography and interventions.
• Operate imaging systems (fluoroscopy, intracardiac ultrasound, IVUS) and manage catheters.
• Monitor hemodynamics; interpret and document waveforms.
• Assist with device exchanges and interventions under supervision.
• Manage access sites and post-procedure care.
• Document cases and support procedure reports; maintain equipment.
• Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment per manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain radiation safety and complete training.
