Job summary

MLK Community Healthcare is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Lab/Interventional Radiology Nurse to deliver expert nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures in a high-acuity setting.

You will coordinate perioperative care, monitor hemodynamics, administer vasoactive medications, assist with procedures, and support a patient- and family-centered approach in alignment with the Watson Model of Care.

Qualifications

• RN with BSN or equivalent clinical degree and CA RN license.
• Minimum 1 year Telemetry/CCU or critical care nursing experience.
• Cath Lab/IR experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, family-centered care in Cardiac Cath Lab and IR settings.
• Support peri-procedural care including conscious sedation.
• Monitor hemodynamics, administer meds, and assist with procedures.
• Collaborate with cardiology, radiology, and perioperative teams.

Skills

Telemetry/CCU nursing experience

Cath Lab/IR experience

Basic computer skills

EMR experience

Bilingual Spanish (preferred)

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related healthcare degree

ASN, Nursing Diploma or equivalent with Cath Lab/IR experience
