Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama in Montgomery, AL is seeking an RN - Advanced Clinical Educator focused on Cardiac services, including Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and CV Recovery, to advance staff education and patient care.

The Educator will develop curricula, assess learning needs, facilitate education, and guide staff from novice to expert using evidence-based practice and Benner's model, while modeling professional behavior.

Qualifications

• MSN required with evidence of teaching/education in clinical or academic settings.
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience in the served areas (Critical Care, Med/Surg, Women's, Peds or ED).
• Active RN license required; BLS required; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on area.
• Ability to develop curriculum and deliver education using evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop staff through education as Educator, Consultant, Facilitator and Leader.
• Assess learning needs, plan education, implement and evaluate competency and continuing education.
• Serve as a role model of professional behavior and lead educational initiatives.
• Support evidence-based practice and adult learning principles in all trainings.
