Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an Allied Health professional to assist in Cardiac Cath procedures under physician supervision. The role requires maintaining sterile technique, assisting with catheterization and imaging, and contributing to patient care across adolescent to geriatric populations in the Cath Lab.

Minimum qualifications include RCIS/ASRT program completion, BLS/ACLS, and 1 year of critical care experience.

Competenze

• Licensure requirements include RCIS, RT(R), RRT, or RCVT; in lieu of registry, Paramedic or LPN license accepted.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Graduate of RCIS or ASRT program with relevant critical care experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Ensure patient data and adjustable technical factors for optimal imaging in Cath Lab.
• Prepare procedure room, equipment, sterile technique and post-case cleanup.
• Maintain sterile field and assist physician in both percutaneous and open cases.
• Train and mentor staff; participate in PI and equipment documentation.
• Take call shifts with 30-minute response time and ensure accurate charting.
