Zusammenfassung

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab professional to assist in procedures under physician supervision, maintaining sterile technique and supporting care for critically ill patients across adolescent to geriatric ages in the Cath Lab department.

Qualified candidates will hold RCIS/RT(R)/RRT/RCVT or equivalent licensure, plus BLS/ACLS, with an associate degree in Allied Health preferred and at least 1 year of critical care experience.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold RCIS/RT(R)/RRT/RCVT or equivalent licensure.
• In lieu of registry, Paramedic license or Practical Nurse license accepted.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Associates Degree in Allied Health preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintains sterile technique during invasive procedures and monitors equipment.
• Sets up and prepares procedure room and supplies.
• Assists physician during percutaneous and open cases with catheter care and equipment.
• Operates and troubleshoots fluoroscopy and radiology equipment as needed.
• Documents pre-, intra-, and post-procedure data in the EMR and billing system.
• May participate in call shifts with 30-minute response time.
• Supports team and participates in ongoing education and PI activities.
