Night shift, part-time hours offer opportunities to develop skills in cardiac care and patient safety. The position requires a high school diploma, BLS within 90 days, and certification options such as CNA, NCMA, NCPCT, or equivalent training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Must have one of: Sentara Care Partner, CNA, NCMA, NCPCT, US Navy Hospital Corps School, EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic, or current clinical student.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of a professional nurse.
• Support admissions and discharge processes.
• Observe patients and report changes to the nurse.
• Comply with patient safety practices.
