Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesiology preferred.
• Active West Virginia medical license or eligibility.
• DEA registration.
• ACLS and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for cardiac and surgical patients.
• Evaluate patients preoperatively and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
• Administer and manage general and regional anesthesia as appropriate.
• Provide perioperative hemodynamic and airway management.
• Manage complex and high-acuity cardiac cases.
• Provide postoperative care and assist with pain management.
• Collaborate with surgeons, cardiologists, CRNAs, and other care team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
