UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a Cardiovascular Acute Care Nurse for a 36-hour, night-shift position. You will provide competent nursing care, coordinate with the Nurse Manager/Director, and deliver patient care using the nursing process in a hospital setting.

Job responsibilities include education, care evaluation, implementation, leadership, patient assessment, and discharge planning within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Competenze

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• RN licensure in North Carolina and BLS certification required.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.

• Educate patients and families, assess learning needs, and provide relevant materials.
• Evaluate care plans with the interdisciplinary team and promote continuity of care.
• Implement care for patients with complex needs and assist with discharge planning.
