UNC Health in Chapel Hill is seeking a full-time Clinical Nurse for the Cardiovascular and Thoracic Critical Care Unit on night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. The ideal candidate must graduate from a nursing school and be licensed to practice in North Carolina, holding a Basic Life Support certification.

This role involves providing competent nursing care, participating in educational programs, and collaborating with patient families to ensure effective planning and assessment for patient care.

Qualificações

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
• At least one year of nursing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards.
• Participate in education programs based on identified learning needs.
• Identify expected patient outcomes and revise the plan of care accordingly.
• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems.
• Participate in the development of unit goals and performance improvement activities.

Formação académica

Bachelor’s degree with a major in Nursing or a Master’s degree with a major in Nursing
