Job summary

Apple Federal Credit Union in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Card Services Specialist I to support day-to-day card operations and ensure compliance with card rules and regulations. This full-time role covers processing, troubleshooting, and customer support within the Card Services department.

The position requires at least two years in a financial institution, a high school diploma, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience: minimum two years financial institution experience required.
• Education: a high school education or GED.
• Interpersonal Skills: strong communication, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Other Skills: excellent problem-solving abilities; proficient with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process daily reports, posting provisional credits and reversals as indicated by card processor.
• Review daily lost/stolen reports and block/reissue accounts per policy.
• Respond to department inquiries via hotline and Help Desk; support staff.
• Assist ATM troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance calls.
• Balance daily deposit and GL entries; prepare monthly reconciliations.
