Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Associate for the Card Finance Analytics team to drive analytics of acquisitions investment strategies, offer tracking, performance and profitability. You will develop expertise in Card P&L, forecast mechanisms, and business planning.

Responsibilities include using SAS/SQL, Alteryx and Tableau to forecast performance, partnering with risk, marketing and business teams, and presenting insights to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field is required.
• 2+ years of experience in an analytical / reporting role.
• Understanding of investment modeling including NPV, ROI, ROE, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• SAS/SQL experience with granular data tables to derive profitability.
• Excellent communication skills and strong organization.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantitative analysis using SAS/SQL and Alteryx/Tableau to forecast performance and profitability.
• Serve as key contact for risk, marketing and business teams in acquisitions investment.
• Identify areas to improve or automate acquisition forecasting processes.
• Develop tools to reduce manual work and increase forecast accuracy.
• Provide insights and recommendations for acquisitions investment strategies.
• Create post-implementation reviews of new offer strategies vs. forecasts.
• Perform valuations of acquisitions-related business cases requiring IT resources.
• Present analytics and recommendations to senior management.
