Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Data Analyst to apply analytics and technical skills to build and maintain well‑governed data solutions that tackle business problems. You will operate across three focus areas—Innovation, Business Intelligence and Data Management—driving insights and enabling self‑service analytics.

You will partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into dashboards, metrics and data quality controls, while collaborating with Tech teams on security, governance and data access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in data analytics, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD.
• At least 3 years of experience in at least one scripting language.
• At least 1 year of experience using a BI visualization tool.
• At least 3 years of experience querying/analyzing data languages and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Innovation: mine diverse data sources; build self-service data solutions and tools.
• Business Intelligence: design metrics and dashboards; translate business needs into insights.
• Data Management: ensure data quality, metadata, lineage, and data access governance.
