Job summary

Merrick Bank is seeking a Manager, Card Business Analytics to drive profitable growth and optimize credit performance across the credit card portfolio. This role collaborates with Modeling, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance to translate analytical insights into business decisions.

The ideal candidate has strong quantitative skills with Python, SQL, and Excel/VBA, plus experience with PowerBI or Tableau. You will influence strategy and monitor portfolio health in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a quantitative field; Master’s preferred.
• Experience in data analytics, strategy execution, or decision engines in financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to design and optimization of integrated credit strategies.
• Performs model monitoring and recommends valuation changes.
• Designs, launches, and monitors A/B and multivariate tests.
• Partners with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and execution.
• Socializes strategies and presents insights to senior leadership.
