Job summary

Stand-By Personnel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Fitter/Welder for a full-time role in Tulsa, OK. The position requires strong fitting, layout, blueprint-reading, and carbon steel welding abilities, with the ability to read fabrication drawings and weld symbols.

The candidate must pass 2G and 3G plate weld tests using 6010 root with 7018 fill and cap, and work a Monday–Friday day shift on-site at our Tulsa facility.

Qualifications

• Previous Fitter/Welder experience required.
• Strong carbon steel fitting and welding experience.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols.
• Lay out carbon steel components according to specifications.
• Measure, mark, position, and align materials for fabrication.
• Fit and assemble structural components prior to welding.
• Perform structural welding on carbon steel.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy.
