Job summary

Stand-By Personnel is hiring experienced Structural Fitters and Pipe Fitters for a large-scale, long-term fabrication project in Tulsa, OK. Day shift; pay $24.00–$28.00 per hour based on experience; overtime opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of structural or pipe fitting experience.
• Experience with carbon steel fabrication; some stainless steel a plus.
• Strong blueprint-reading, layout and fit-up skills.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings.
• Proficient with tape measure and measurements.
• Experience with MIG, Flux Core and TIG welding processes.
• Commitment to safety and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Fit structural steel and pipe components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret fabrication blueprints.
• Measure and lay out materials for fabrication.
• Position components and align before welding.
• Prepare weld joints and perform tack welding.
• Collaborate with Welders and fabrication team.
• Maintain safety, quality and housekeeping on site.
• Assist with fit-up inspections and adjustments.
