Job Title: Carbon Credits Management ExpertLocation: Remote (Ad Hoc Travel to Houston, TX)

Job Summary:We are seeking a Carbon Credits Management Expert to support the Explore phase of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation project for a leading Oil & Gas client. This role focuses on renewable fuel credits management, regulatory compliance, and the integration of carbon tracking into SAP downstream operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong domain expertise in RINS, LCFS, and carbon credits, along with hands-on experience in SAP Oil & Gas and renewables tracking systems.

• Scope of Work:Actively participate in SAP Explore phase workshops as part of the SAP Design Success team
• Lead requirements gathering for renewable fuel credit management in Oil & Gas downstream operations
• Analyze and map business processes to SAP IDP Renewables Management solution
• Provide technical guidance on SAP industry solutions for carbon credits and renewables
• Recommend best practices for implementing solutions for RINS, LCFS, and other compliance programs
• Ensure integration of renewables tracking with SAP modules (Oil & Gas, HVC, Logistics, etc.)
• Lead and plan Fit-to-Standard and Detail Design workshops with Systems Integrator (SI)
• Contribute to solution validation, design documentation, and alignment with overall SAP roadmap
• Evaluate pain points and present solution options to business stakeholders and design leads
• Report design risks or challenges to Solution Design Lead and HCVC Delivery Lead
• Skills Required:Deep understanding of SAP Oil & Gas solutions, especially in Downstream
• Proven expertise in carbon credit programs: RINS, LCFS, and related regulatory frameworks
• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA and Fit-to-Standard workshop facilitation
• Familiarity with SAP IDP Renewables Management is a plus
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into SAP-based solution design
• Experience integrating renewable tracking into SAP logistics and finance modules
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical mindset to address gaps, validate pain points, and suggest solutions
• Background in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related disciplines
• Work Authorization & Security:Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
