Job Title: Carbon Credits Management Expert

Location: Remote / with Ad Hoc Travel Houston, TX (Very Minimal)

Duration: 6 months / Part Time 16 hrs/week

Experience: 12+ years

Responsibilities

1. Participate in the Explore phase of the SAP S/4HANA transformation project
2. Lead requirements gathering workshops with customers and guide on industry solutions
3. Analyze customer business processes and map them to the customer’s solution processes for renewables tracking
4. Evaluate business requirements to determine product roadmap strategy alignment
5. Work with SI through Fit-to-Standard & Detail Design (Explore) and deployment transitions through phases
6. Analyze customer’s pain points and assist the team/scrum to produce solution scenarios
7. Support remotely in US PST/CST time zones

Skills

1. Expertise in Carbon Credits Tracking and Renewables Management within Oil & Gas (Downstream)
2. Knowledge of SAP best practices for RINS, LCFS, and similar programs
3. Experience with SAP Oil & Gas downstream industry and S/4 O&G solutions
4. Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into functional specifications
5. Understanding of regulatory compliance related to emissions reporting and carbon credits
6. Experience with SAP IDP Renewals Management
7. Background in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related fields
