Gas N Wash in Wheeling, IL seeks an Assistant General Manager for Car Wash Operations. You will be the right hand to the General Manager, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and the team stays energized while delivering a standout customer experience.

You will lead staff, drive memberships and add-ons, coach shift leaders, address feedback, and coordinate maintenance to keep the wash at peak efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or automotive services.
• Customer-first mindset with a passion for memorable service.
• Strong people skills to motivate, coach, and build a positive team culture.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations from opening to closing to ensure smooth runs.
• Greet customers with energy and enthusiasm to create a welcoming first impression.
• Promote and sell unlimited wash memberships, gift cards, and service upgrades.
• Educate customers on wash packages and add-ons; meet monthly sales targets.
• Lead and coach CSR's and shift leaders to deliver top-tier service.
• Address customer feedback professionally to foster loyalty.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance for peak efficiency.
