Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Summit, NJ, invites enrolled juniors to join our Cell Therapy Materials Management Co-op for Jan 11 – Jun 18, 2027. You will support site material buying, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives while gaining cross-functional exposure.

Responsibilities include monitoring inventory, creating metrics, managing ERP master data, coordinating with vendors, and contributing to quarterly budgets. This program offers practical experience in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US for the duration of the internship; visa sponsorship not available.
• Junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in SCM/Operations/Manufacturing Eng/Analytics; graduation Spring/Summer 2028.
• Must include GPA on resume – minimum GPA 3.0.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables/macros; strong PowerPoint and MS Office skills.
• Technical and analytical ability to extract, analyze, and interpret data.
• Efficiently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good written and verbal communication; self-starter who takes initiative.

Responsibilities

• Work with material buyer/planners to monitor inventory, forecast, and place purchase orders.
• Create and manage metrics to measure team performance and identify improvements.
• Manage ERP master data to improve forecast accuracy and purchasing efficiency.
• Balance stakeholder material requirements with vendor relationships and CT needs.
• Lead continuous improvement projects yielding cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Support quarterly and annual budgets; identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Drive accurate inventory management and cycle count standardization.
• Build relationships across functions and lead process improvements.
