Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a driven student to support site material buying and planning activities for the Cell Therapy program at Summit, NJ. The internship/co-op offers hands-on experience in forecasting, budgeting, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced biopharma supply chain.

You will work with site stakeholders to balance material requirements, monitor inventory, and develop solutions that enhance forecast accuracy and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled juniors pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business/Data Analytics, or related field.
• Expected graduation Spring or Summer 2028; students graduating before this are not eligible.
• Must include GPA on resume, minimum GPA 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels with material buyers/planners and place purchase orders for replenishment.
• Create and manage metrics to measure team performance and identify improvements.
• Adjust ERP master data to improve forecast accuracy and purchasing efficiency.
• Coordinate with site stakeholders and vendors to meet CT operational needs and resolve issues.
• Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at cost savings, resource utilization, and process efficiency.
• Support quarterly/annual budgets and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
