Job summary

DARCARS Honda of Bowie is seeking a Car Sales Representative to join our team and drive vehicle sales while delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll engage with customers in person and virtually, collaborating with Sales Consultants, Managers, Finance, and the General Manager.

This non-supervisory, commission-based role emphasizes integrity, product knowledge, and a strong customer-first approach. A flexible schedule, valid license, and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with customers and DARCARS employees.
• Spanish and Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Customer service mindset.
• Able to use video tools to assist customers.
• Ability to read and understand policy documents and communicate with customers.
• Previous sales experience is preferred but not required.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform normal job functions.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, team player, flexible schedule.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least eighteen.
• Pass pre-employment background screen.

Responsibilities

• Conducts business in a professional and ethical manner.
• Greet customers, identify needs, describe vehicle features in person or virtually.
• Follow test drive procedures and obtain identification.
• Suggest optional equipment and warranties.
• Compute and quote sales price; assist with financing; complete paperwork; arrange delivery and registration.
• Maintain knowledge of brands, products, pricing, and options.
• Make effective demonstration rides on planned routes.
• Develop and maintain prospect and customer follow-up system.
• Participate in brand and DARCARS training; use online digital retailing tools; may use video tools.
• Develop income goals with GM and plan to meet them.
• Comply with DARCARS policies; perform other duties as assigned.
