Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to acquire inventory by purchasing customer vehicles and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The role supports our We'll Buy Your Car program with same-day payment and flexible hours.

You will engage private sellers, set appraisal appointments, and review vehicle condition while maintaining a high standard of customer service. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Extremely self-motivated; able to drive results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Valid in-state driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Responds to incoming leads via AutoNation and third-party sites by phone, internet, and walk-ins.
• Identifies private-party sellers and engages them to sell their vehicle.
• Sets up appointments for dealership appraisal visits.
• Executes the AutoNation We'll Buy Your Car same-day payment process.
• Reviews vehicle condition reports and inspects vehicles on-site.
• Interacts with customers throughout the day, in person and by phone.
• Refer customers preferring trade-in to the sales team.
