Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Level 2 Autotech Agent to install complex vehicle electronics and provide technical guidance to customers. You’ll work on a range of vehicles, following established procedures to ensure safe, high-quality installations.

The role involves installing remote starts, in-dash units, speakers and cameras, diagnosing compatibility issues, and collaborating with team members to deliver excellent service across all makes and models.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver's license.
• Driving record meeting Best Buy safety standards.
• Best Buy level 2 Autotech Certification.
• Ability to perform all car electronic‑related work.

Responsibilities

• Install complex car electronics including hardwired remote starts, advanced speakers and in‑dash units
• Install standard car electronics including T- harness remote starts, standard speakers, dash cameras, backup cameras, amplifiers and in‑dash units
• Perform work on vehicles of all makes and models and communicate any compatibility issues prior to installation
• Use resources and technical acumen for troubleshooting complex automotive solutions
