Job summary

Pacific Maritime Group is seeking a Captain/Master of Tow to oversee the safe transportation of barges and the performance of the crew, vessel, and tow. This role requires leadership, clear communication, and hands-on management of in harbor and ocean work.

Qualifications

• 200-Ton Near Coastal certification is required.
• TWIC passport is required for access.
• DBIDS military base access eligibility.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for vessel and crew performance and maintenance.
• Safely docking and undocking ships.
• Ensure equipment is kept neat and in good working order.
• Take appropriate action under unsafe or difficult conditions.
• Report and log near misses, incidents, and hazards.
• Motivate crew to ensure discipline and effort.
• Other duties as assigned.
